Windscreen repair is suitable for chips smaller than a £2 coin, as long as they haven’t spread into cracks. Our technician will simply inject resin into the chip, cure it, then polish it smooth. It takes around 30 minutes and will only set you back £50-£80.

Windscreen replacement is for larger cracks, chips in the driver’s line of sight, and damage within 3cm of the windscreen edge. We’re all about being upfront and honest, so if we can save you some money by repairing rather than replacing, we will.

Do you really come to my location, no matter where it is?

Yes! Our mobile windscreen replacement service covers 98% of the UK. We’ll come to your home, work, or any other location that’s convenient for you. All we need is access to your vehicle on a flat, safe area (driveways and car parks are ideal). Some very remote locations might incur a small travel fee, but this will be included in your upfront quote.

What is ADAS calibration and do I need it?

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems - that's all the clever safety features like lane assist, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. If your car has cameras or sensors mounted on or near the windscreen, yes, you'll need calibration after replacement. When we fit a new windscreen, even a tiny difference in position can throw these systems off. We'll recalibrate everything using manufacturer-approved equipment to ensure your safety systems work perfectly. The calibration cost is included in your quote - we'll never spring it on you as an extra.

How long does the whole process take?

For a standard windscreen replacement without ADAS calibration: about 45-90 minutes. With ADAS calibration: add another hour. Side windows are quicker at 30-45 minutes. Rear windows take 1-2 hours. These are approximate times - your technician will give you a more accurate estimate when they arrive and assess your specific vehicle.
